I am an experience-accumulating software engineer who is a MSc student at Bogazici University, System and Control Engineering. I am the founder of the NinjaCoders, which is a start-up that develops online courses for children. I have also developed AI-based healthcare applications.
To prevent the COVID-19 infections spreading, lots of diagnosis test-kits have been developed all around the world. Diagnosis is important for the isolation of the infected people, preventing them from spreading the disease and is also important for the observation and study of the infection. Here, my goal is to build up an algorithm that can classify the cough sound profile of COVID-19 patients and to use this analysis as an early prognosis tool.
In this 10-hour course, I teach a well-known electronic prototyping board, Arduino, with many projects. The syllabus of this course has been prepared for two years by experimenting with over 1000 people.
In this 3-hour course, I teach the basics of software development with Scratch. This course has been mainly prepared for children between 7 to 14. More than 1500 children have enrolled in this course.
My entrepreneurship story had begun with the Ninjacoders in 2017. I founded and had lead it, then I failed. Then I had started again with the idea Kodit in 2019. It was better, but I made many mistakes, then I am about to fail. I have learned so much. Next, I will not fail.
Kodit is an education-set that improves 60-72 months of children's cognitive and coding abilities. The project is supported by TUBITAK with 200,000 TL grant support. The R&D has been continued since May 2019.
My entrepreneurship story began with the Ninjacoders in 2017. NinjaCoders has started as a project that designs coding and robotic courses for the children in 7-14. With our course guide, university students can easily be instructors in coding and robotic courses. Over 1000 children have joined these classes.
Electrosalus have been developing an intelligent stethoscope technology which is patented over 28 European countries. The electrosalus smart stethoscope, Saluscope ,distinguishes a wide range of respiratory sounds for early detection and prognosis of respiratory diseases, assists doctors for diagnosis, and helps medical monitoring by even no medicals.
I am one of the two software engineers in the team. I have developed mobile applications and backend servers of the mobile stethoscope. I have also developed smart algorithms for lung sounds anomalies.
I developed the software products in Electrosalus by using IOS-Swift, Python , Android - Kotlin, MEAN (MangoDB, ExpressJs, Angular, NodeJs).
Analyzing respiratory sounds and detecting anomalies in them with intelligent algorithms has opened a new era for auscultation that has 250 years of history. Furthermore, wheezes and crackles as abnormal sounds are hot topics currently being researched by many researchers. I work on machine learning algorithms for detecting wheezes and crackles that are superimposed on vesicular sounds.
My master thesis is also about the classification and detection of wheezes in respiratory sounds. I used several sound identification features to extract the characteristic of the sound signal.
Cisco is the worldwide leader in networking technologies that transform how people live, work, play, and learn. I was a long term intern, and I attended the CCNA course and learned the basics of networks.

I love to learn. I love to learn. Exploring new technologies and experimenting with new projects is my lifelong hobby. My interest mainly focuses on machine learning algorithms. Because of my music history, I am sensitive to sounds around us. So that, intelligent algorithms that manipulate and classify sounds are a tempting area for me.
